This project formed part of a complete back garden transformation at a beautiful property in Oxfordshire, with a strong focus on creating a high-quality patio space for everyday use and entertaining. The design centred around the installation of a 60m² patio laid in tumbled limestone, chosen for its soft, aged appearance and ability to complement the natural surroundings. The patio was carefully positioned to work in harmony with the wider garden layout, providing a defined yet inviting outdoor living area.
The tumbled limestone slabs were laid with precision to achieve a consistent finish and natural flow across the space. Careful attention was given to levels, edges, and transitions to ensure the patio integrated seamlessly with surrounding features, including adjacent lawn areas and stonework. The choice of limestone added warmth and character while offering a durable, long-lasting surface suited to both the setting and intended use of the garden.
