This project was completed for a bungalow in Stoke Row during summer 2024, with the aim of creating a practical and attractive patio while keeping costs down at the client’s request. The design focused on making the most of the available space using repurposed Indian sandstone slabs, resulting in a simple, functional outdoor area that complements the property.
Reclaimed Indian sandstone slabs were carefully prepared and laid on a full bed of sharp sand, ensuring a solid and even foundation. Each slab was fully primed prior to installation to promote strong adhesion and long-term durability. Despite using repurposed materials, the same high standards of workmanship and attention to detail were maintained throughout the build.
The project was completed efficiently and to plan, delivering a cost-effective solution without compromising on quality. The client was extremely pleased with the finished patio, appreciating both the savings achieved through material reuse and the durable, clean finish. The completed space now provides a reliable and welcoming outdoor area designed for everyday use.
