Completed insummer 2025,this project involved creating a small, curved Indian sandstone patio at a property in Stoke Row. Designed to follow the natural lines of the house, the curved layout allowed the patio to sit comfortably within a compact corner of the garden. At the client’s request, repurposed sandstone slabs were used, offering a more cost-effective solution while still achieving an attractive and practical finish.
The reclaimed slabs were carefully prepared and laid on a solid Type 1 sub-base, ensuring durability and stability. As with all our patios, the slabs were bedded on mortar and fully primed for extra strength and longevity, maintaining our high construction standards despite the use of reclaimed materials.
The finished patio has transformed an underused area into a small but functional and inviting outdoor space, making the most of limited garden room. The clients were extremely pleased with the result, appreciating both the thoughtful design and the quality of workmanship.
