This project was completed at a property in Stoke Row and involved the construction of a red brick retaining wall with Oxford stone steps to enhance the front of the house. The design was carefully considered to match the existing brickwork, ensuring a cohesive and traditional appearance. While rooted in classic brickwork, the inclusion of sleek, low-profile yet deep steps introduced a subtle modern element, delivering both visual appeal and everyday functionality.

The build incorporated a solid concrete foundation supporting a breeze block retaining wall, which was then faced with red brick and topped to achieve the desired finish. Drainage was installed behind the wall to manage runoff from the adjacent planter beds, helping to reduce pressure and ensure long-term durability. The overall design balanced strength, longevity, and attention to detail, while remaining true to the aesthetic vision set out by the client.

The project ran smoothly from initial planning through to completion, with careful coordination at each stage of construction. The client was extremely pleased with the finished result, particularly how well the new work blends with the existing property.
